Here is my story:
As the grey-haired couple approached me, I was surprised to see their unhappy faces.
In this huge bookstore, with Christmas decor sparkling around us, I eagerly greeted incoming shoppers, hoping to interest them in the 5 books I had self-published.
“We’ve each been given $50 gift cards,” Mrs. Unhappy explained.
“Lucky you!” I beamed. I couldn’t understand. Why the long faces?
“We don’t know what to look for,” Mr. Unhappy continued. “We’re tired of crime and deception, characters who are unfaithful and warped, twisted plots and violence. How do we find something . . . ”
“Wholesome?” I suggested indicating my books!
And that is how I found my Niche.
